Schlumberger Mobility
iOS and Android Internal App

Schlumberger is the world's largest oilfield services company. Schlumberger employs approximately 95,000 people representing more than 140 nationalities working in more than 85 countries. Schlumberger has four principal executive offices located in Paris, Houston, London, and the Hague.

Schlumberger has been using a desktop system for reporting hazards in the work environment. This platform was created in 1992, and over the years has been collecting features and new functions with no layout direction. Schlumberger came to frog to fix this issue, to make the system easier to use and more usable. Over 80% of their employees are colorblind, which is something we learned during research. This was an impactful insight we had to design around. Schlumberger is also looking to take their system, and move it to mobile. This will allow oil workers to report hazards quickly and safely without having to use a desktop work station. The team also explored devices which could report a risk even faster, if a catastrophic event were to occur. With this in mind, we built wearable prototypes and fast mobile solutions for quick reporting.
